I'd Like to Add . . .

As this is about the 3rd or 4th time I've been late to write about things I'm thankful for on Thursdays, I'm getting very tired of it.  That is, being late.  This isn't the only thing I've been late to: I'm late to a lot of things and I don't like that.  As much as this just seems so cold and stiff and robot-ish, I'm going to start writing Thankful Thursday Posts beforehand , just in case I don't have time to write on that Thursday, and schedule them to automatically post on the next thursday.  I'll try to live-write as much as I can but sometimes, in order to stick to your word, you've got to skip out on the "natural" or "organic" order of things. (Example: I wrote this post like 2 weeks ago.  It's just different to know it isn't fresh and raw and coming from my heart at this very moment . At least I think so.) I want to talk about that a little bit because it's kind of a debate going on in my mind right n

As you may have noticed (as I did), I have again failed to post a 'Thankful Thursday' post this Thursday.  I recognize though that this does not mean that I have failed. Here's a snippet of my thoughts on the subject this morning while getting ready for work: "Shoot! I never did end up writing a Thankful Thursday post on Thursday  this week.  I guess I could do it today but ahh! that's just frustrating.  I did it again!" But then, I remembered why. Let's rewind the clock to yesterday morning. I spent the night before at a house I'm helping to watch while the family who lives there is on vacation.  I got up kind of late because I like sleep and I had stayed up sort of late the night before having a good conversation with my boyfriend on the phone.  I wouldn't trade that for an on-time thankful Thursday post.
